1. Overview

We redesigned and optimized the 40 Thieves coffee website, transforming a coffee brand facing an identity crisis into a cohesive, conversion-driven experience. Built a bold Shopify storefront with refined typography and immersive storytelling centered on a “coffee heist” concept. Implemented a full SEO strategy, optimizing metadata, structured data, and on-page content targeting “Specialty Coffee” keywords. Enhanced site performance, increased organic visibility, and unified brand presence across digital platforms.

2. Problem

40 Thieves Coffee lacked a clear visual identity and cohesive digital presence. The brand’s messaging, design elements, and online experience were fragmented, creating confusion and limiting customer trust. Despite offering high-quality coffee, the website failed to communicate its story, differentiate its products, or convert visitors into loyal customers. The brand needed a unified direction that balanced storytelling, credibility, and performance.

3. Process

The redesign began with a full audit of 40 Thieves Coffee’s brand identity, site architecture, and SEO structure. From there, each element was reimagined through a unified lens — emphasizing narrative consistency, modern aesthetics, and technical performance. The visual system was rebuilt around bold contrast, refined typography, and story-driven layouts that reflected the “coffee heist” theme. On the backend, SEO foundations were optimized, improving metadata, structured data, and keyword alignment. The result was a seamless blend of storytelling, strategy, and functionality that redefined how the brand connects with its audience.

Through careful research, planning, and management post-redesign and SEO optimization, I was able to achieve measurable growth across key performance metrics for 40 Thieves. Gross sales increased by 110%, while total sales rose 27% over the previous quarter. Customer engagement strengthened with a 267% increase in sessions and a 714% surge in “add to cart” actions. The conversion rate improved 39%, supported by a 125% rise in completed checkouts and a 23% increase in orders fulfilled. I recently needed to do rebranding because of a new contract partnership. I requested to have my logo in an animated lively animation for the socials. The Pulse did everything very quickly. I had a quick turn around and they made sure I liked my product before sending me on my way. Unfortunately my video file is too big to post under here. But I have a screen shot of it all (sorry). But there is a nice animation. I have ordered more artwork but I will post more as it comes in .

Collaborating with you all was fantastic! They didn't just design a website for 'NiftyNook Finds'—they created a whole vibe with a stunning logo that captures what we’re all about. This team was super easy to work with, really responsive, and just got all my ideas right away. The whole process felt more like working with a friend than a contractor.
